The Garcia House designed by John Lautner and completed in 1962 stands as a fine example of midcentury modern architecture. Built for for the jazz musician, conductor and Hollywood composer Russell Garcia and his wife Gina, the futuristic and curvaceous house was neglected for 25 years before being bought by the current owners in 2002 who then embarked on an extensive amount of restoration with the expert assistance of architectural firm Marmol Radziner, to bring the house back, essentially back to life.
