Mario Bellini is an internationally renowned architect and designer. He received the Golden Compass Award a staggering eight times and 25 of his works are in MOMA’s the permanent design collection in New York. Mario graduated from the Politecnico di Milano in 1959 and carved out an incredible career as a practicing architect and also designing furniture for Cassini, B&B Italia, and Vitra among others. He was also editor of Domus magazine (1985-1991).
Pictured here is the living room in his Bellini’s Milan Pilazzo. An enviable collection of furniture by all the greats (we spy, Aalto, Cherner, his own design and more) congregate around a sublime looking analogue sound set up.
